How can I create a Voice app?

There is always a default Voice app - a Welcome menu for callers - created in your account. You can find it in the Voice app section. You can either Change the existing Voice app or create a new one by clicking on Add Voice app. When you create an app, you will first be asked what type of Voice app you want to create.

  1. Voice mail. This type of Voice app can record a message from the caller and deliver the message to anyone in your company by email.
  2. Voice response. A highly flexible and configurable Voice response service that allows you to play announcements and/or menus to the caller.

 

You can create up to 1,000 different Voice apps. Since choices in menus in a Voice app can divert the call to another Voice app, and each Voice app can play different messages and different logic, this means that you can create multi-level menus, such as "For English, press 3" having one menu choice leading to another menu.
