We pay 10% interest on the balance in your prepaid balance from April 1st 2022.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The interest rate is annual but is calculated and added to your prepaid account each month, based on your prepaid balance each day in the month.<\/p>\n

You get interest paid out automatically if you fulfill these criteria:<\/p>\n

• Minimum balance
  \nYour prepaid account must hold at least $100 or \u20ac100 or 1000 SEK.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
• Active subscription
  \nYou must have an active subscription of some Sonetel service, such as Premium or a phone number.<\/span><\/li>\n
• Validated account
  \nYou must have validated your identity<\/a> by submitting a copy of your photo ID and proof of address.<\/span><\/li>\n
• Company
  \nOur service is for businesses only.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  You can activate auto-refill<\/a> to ensure that your account balance always is high enough to be eligible for Interest. This requires that you have some payment method<\/a> in your account.<\/p>\n

  Interest is paid on amounts up to $10,000 or \u20ac10,000 or 100,000 SEK. Surplus amounts are not subject to interest rate. Max allowed prepaid balance is $15,000 or \u20ac15,000 or 150,000 SEK.<\/p>\n

  The currency in your Sonetel prepaid account is normally USD. If you are in Europe it is Euro. If you are in Sweden it is SEK.<\/p>\n

  Interest is paid starting from March 1st 2022 with 6% annually. From April 1st 2022, the interest rate is increased to 10% annually.<\/div>\n

  Sonetel reserves the right to adjust the interest rates from time to time. New interest rates will be posted at the website.<\/div>\n

  Where can I see my interest earned?<\/h2>\n

  You will get a monthly summary with interest earned as an in-app notification each month.<\/p>\n

  It will soon be possible to see the monthly interest payments on the Receipts page<\/a> under Billing in the web app.<\/div>\n

  Can I get my prepaid balance refunded?<\/h2>\n

  Yes, if you no longer need our services or have less need for them – you can request a partial or full refund<\/a> of your prepaid balance.<\/p>\n
