June 20 – Intermittent problems – calls and API
07:40 AM UTC. One of our main servers handling calls and API traffic has failed resulting in intermittent problems with these services. Our engineers are working on resolving this issue.
09:30 AM UTC. Calls are now fully restored. API is still unavailable. Our engineers are working on a resolution.
New signups are not possible at the moment due to this outage.
11:40 AM UTC. The issue has been resolved and all services are up normally.
We apologize for the inconvenience.
Further investigation has revealed that this outage was caused due to a temporary problem with one of the main Cisco switches that became partially unavailable and stopped handling network traffic to one of our main servers. This was misinterpreted as a networking failure on the server earlier. Rebooting the switch on June 22nd for a different problem has resolved this issue as well.
