November 30th – Changes in area code for Colombian city numbers

11: 00 AM UTC. Due to changes in the national dialing plan by the Colombian telecom regulator, the area code for all city numbers from Colombia is now prefixed with ’60’.

When calling a Colombian city number, please prefix the area code with ’60’. For example, if the number is +50 1 1234567, please dial +50 601 1234567.

We have updated our systems to account for this change. However, we expect intermittent issues for a few hours with both incoming as well as outgoing calls since not all carriers across the world may have updated their systems.
