Customer calls are <a href=\"https:\/\/sonetel.com\/en\/help\/help-topics\/telephony\/customer-call-analysis\/\">analyzed<\/a> and given a score for the way the call was handled, together with an in-depth analysis. You can also get a suggested <a href=\"https:\/\/sonetel.com\/en\/help\/help-topics\/telephony\/follow-up-email\/\">follow up email text<\/a> after each call. To activate call recording in your account, sign in to the <a href=\"https:\/\/app.sonetel.com\">web app, <\/a>\u00a0and click on the <strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u2699<\/span><\/strong> Settings icon and then select <em>Telephony<\/em> -&gt; \u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/app.sonetel.com\/account-settings\/call-recording\/settings\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Call recording<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n<div class=\"article-image-wrapper\"><a href=\"https:\/\/sonetel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/2024-12_Call_recording_activation_settings.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-76956\" src=\"https:\/\/sonetel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/2024-12_Call_recording_activation_settings.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"861\" height=\"768\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sonetel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/2024-12_Call_recording_activation_settings.png 861w, https:\/\/sonetel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/2024-12_Call_recording_activation_settings-300x268.png 300w, https:\/\/sonetel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/2024-12_Call_recording_activation_settings-768x685.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 861px) 100vw, 861px\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p>Here are the options:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Enable call recording<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #808080;\">Turn on or off call recording company-wide.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>What calls should be recorded?<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #808080;\"><em>Record all<\/em> records all calls (excluding on-net calls between team members).<br \/>\n<em>Let me select <\/em>can be set to\u00a0either <em>All incoming calls<\/em> or <em>All outgoing calls<\/em> or <em>Allowed<\/em>.<br \/>\n<em>Allowed<\/em> means that call recording can be activated <a href=\"https:\/\/sonetel.com\/en\/help\/help-topics\/telephony\/configure-phone-numbers\/\">per phone number<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/sonetel.com\/en\/help\/help-topics\/my-settings\/my-call-settings\/\">user<\/a>.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"blue-wrapper\">Only activate call recording if you know that recordings can be done without breaking the law in any country touched (your location, the location of the phone number and the location of the other person being recorded).<\/div>\n<p>The function for <a href=\"https:\/\/sonetel.com\/en\/help\/help-topics\/telephony\/call-transcription\/\">transcribing,<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/sonetel.com\/en\/help\/help-topics\/telephony\/call-summaries\/\">summarizing calls<\/a> and providing <a href=\"https:\/\/sonetel.com\/en\/help\/help-topics\/telephony\/customer-call-analysis\/\">analysis on customer calls<\/a> and suggested follow up emails, is enabled by default when you activate call recording.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Where can I find the recordings?<\/h2>\n<h3>Via the call history<\/h3>\n<p>Team members that make calls &#8211; or receive calls via Sonetel phone numbers <a href=\"https:\/\/sonetel.com\/en\/help\/help-topics\/telephony\/configure-phone-numbers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">assigned to them<\/a> &#8211; If you forward a Sonetel number directly to your mobile, recordings will not appear in your call history, but Admins will be able to see them in the <a href=\"https:\/\/app.sonetel.com\/messages\/conversations\/recordings\">Call recordings page<\/a>.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Can I label recordings?<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #808080;\">Yes, recordings that appear in your conversations can be labeled. Hover over the recording in the Web app or long-click the recording in the mobile app to get the label option. Find recordings with certain labels via the search function.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"blue-wrapper\">Make sure you check what is legally OK in your country before using call recording. <\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Fair usage<\/h2>\n<p>Call recording is only available to accounts on a <a href=\"https:\/\/sonetel.com\/plans\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">paid plan<\/a>.
