You can make regular calls to contacts and phone numbers worldwide at the cost of local calls<\/a>. You can also make free calls to team members<\/a> and other Sonetel users.<\/strong><\/p>\n

You make calls from the web app<\/a>, Android app<\/a> and iPhone app<\/a>.<\/p>\n

You can search for team members, mobile contacts and customers by name.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Select from contacts.<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #808080;\">Click on the phone icon next to a contact or team member in the list. The call will go across the Internet between you and the person you call. The person called may however have their\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/sonetel.com\/en\/help\/help-topics\/my-settings\/my-call-settings\/\">call forwarding settings<\/a> send the call onward to their mobile. If the person called is in another company, they would pay for that call forwarding.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Internet<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #808080;\">With this option, the app will connect your call across the Internet\/WIFI to Sonetel. Sonetel will thereafter set up an onward call across the regular telephone network to the number you want to call. The <a href=\"https:\/\/sonetel.com\/en\/prices\/international-calls\/\">cost of the call per minute<\/a> is specified.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Mobile call<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #808080;\">If you prefer to have a more secure connection with more dependable audio quality, Sonetel can optionally set up a mobile call to you and an additional call to the number you are calling – and then bridge those calls together. This provides a more reliable call quality and is recommended for business calls. The downside is that you may have to pay for two calls.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"article-image-wrapper\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-24558\" src=\"https:\/\/sonetel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/2019-09-27-07.19.30-169x300.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"169\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sonetel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/2019-09-27-07.19.30-169x300.png 169w, https:\/\/sonetel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/2019-09-27-07.19.30-768x1365.png 768w, https:\/\/sonetel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/2019-09-27-07.19.30-576x1024.png 576w, https:\/\/sonetel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/2019-09-27-07.19.30.png 1080w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 169px) 100vw, 169px\" \/><\/div>\n<p>The method used for making an end-to-end mobile call with more dependable quality – can either be:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Call back<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #808080;\">Sonetel calls you + the person you want to call and charges you for both the calls. The calls are bridged together automatically.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Call thru<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #808080;\">The app asks your phone to call the Sonetel local access number in your country. Sonetel then automatically places an additional call to the destination and connects the two calls together. Call thru is supported in more than <a href=\"https:\/\/sonetel.com\/en\/help\/help-topics\/telephony\/make-calls\/call-thru-countries\/\">40 countries<\/a>. You pay your mobile provider for the call to Sonetel, but if you have free minutes in your plan with them, then there is no cost for the call to Sonetel Sonetel only charges you for the local call to the destination number.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You can see the call charges <a href=\"https:\/\/sonetel.com\/en\/prices\/international-calls\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<div class=\"blue-wrapper\">In your <a href=\"https:\/\/sonetel.com\/en\/help\/help-topics\/my-settings\/my-call-settings\/\">Call settings<\/a> it is possible to select if you want to make calls with Call thru or Call back. It is also possible if you have a preference for Internet calls or mobile calls.
