  How to enter a European VAT number<\/h2>\n

  If you want to avoid paying VAT and have a European VAT registration number – please follow these steps:<\/p>\n

  • Sign in
    \nSign in at<\/span> sonetel.com<\/a>.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Select “Company Settings”
    \nClick on\u00a0<\/a>\u00a0Settings cog in the bottom left corner of the screen.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    • Select Billing<\/em> and VAT<\/em>
      \n<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Enter VAT ID
      \nEnter your VAT ID with the initial 2 letters for your country, such as PL or FR.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    • Submit
      \nWe will immediately check your VAT ID towards the EU database.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      If you get the error message “Invalid VAT ID”, you can test your VAT ID yourself at the EU web site<\/a>. If the VAT ID is invalid there, you need to contact your local tax authorities to get the issue resolved.<\/div>\n

      Swedish VAT numbers cannot be entered.<\/div>\n
