My notifications
The Sonetel service may notify you via push notifications to your mobile, desktop notifications to your laptop, by email and by SMS – dependent on the context.
You can change your notification preferences in your Personal settings – but you can also mute individual Conversations – to avoid getting too many notifications.

Muting group conversations
Each Group conversation can be Muted in the Group settings which are found under the Information icon (upper right).
If you mute a group conversation, you will only be notified if someone mentions you.
Unfollowing sub topics
Sub-topics are sub-discussions that are started in Group chat by using the Reply message option. When looking at a Sub topic you have a menu icon top right which can be used to unfollow the sub-topic. This ensures that you will only be notified if you are mentioned in the sub-topic.
New customer conversations
If you change your personal availability to Away or make yourself unavailable in a specific customer service team – then you will not be notified when there are new customer conversations.
