What happens when I change my plan?
When you change your plan, the benefits available to you will change along with the renewal fees you pay for the plan.
Upgrade to a higher plan
When moving up to a higher plan, the following changes happen.
- Plan change
The account is immediately upgraded to the selected plan. The charges for the plan are deducted from the prepaid account. - Phone numbers
Some of the existing phone numbers will become free when they are up for renewal. Please have a look here to see how this works.
When upgrading from Premium to Business plan, the amount of free phone numbers per user increases to five (5). Our system will automatically convert eligible phone numbers to be free with the new plan when they are up for renewal. - Features included with plan
All features included with the new plan, such as Voice apps, Text-to-speech, Call recording and so are available immediately.
When upgrading from Premium to Business plan, you get higher free usage limits for features that were already included with the Premium plan.
Downgrade to a lower plan
When you switching to a lower plan, the following changes happen.
- Plan change
The account will be moved to the new plan on the date the current plan is set for renewal. The charges for the selected plan are deducted from the prepaid account. on the renewal date. - Phone numbers
Some phone numbers that were free with the old Plan may be charged a monthly fee after your account is moved to the new plan.
When moving from the Business Plan to the Premium Plan, the amount of free numbers per user is reduced to 1. If you have more users than phone numbers, then your phone numbers will still be free. Please have a look here to see how this works.
- Features included with plan
If the new plan does not include additional features, such as Voice apps, Text-to-speech, Call recording and Twitter DMs, you will not be able to use them after your account is moved to the new plan.
When moving from Business plan to Premium, you get lower usage limits for features that were already included with the Premium plan.
