Simplified prices for phone numbers
We have simplified the prices for phone numbers, and removed many of the small extra charges for incoming calls, use of voice response etc.
We are today simplifying our price list for phone numbers.
- The set-up charges for new phone numbers – charged when you buy a new phone number – are removed (except for some more expensive Toll free numbers and for Gold numbers).
- The per minute charges for inbound calls to Sonetel Phone numbers are also removed on most numbers excluding Chinese, Indian and Toll free numbers. The price for call forwarding of incoming calls to mobiles and landlines is unchanged.
- The charges for using Voice response (IVR and Voicemail) on incoming calls are removed.
- The charges for inbound SMS are removed.
- The charges for inbound fax-to-email are removed.
- To balance this, we have increased the monthly fee for most numbers with about $1.
The changes apply both to new phone numbers and phone numbers that are subscribed earlier.
Please note that the usage is subject to fair usage limitations.
In April we will be introducing the option of having longer subscriptions on phone numbers. This means that it will be possible to get a monthly subscription fee that is lower than before – if you opt for a longer renewal period. As an example phone numbers in the United States will only cost $0.89 per month if you opt for our longest subscription option – once they become available.
This means that all customers will be able to get lower costs for their Sonetel phone numbers.
All the prices including the new monthly fees and the upcoming longer subscription fees can be found here in USD (or see Euro prices and SEK prices).
