Set up a SIP trunk

Send us your IPs for whitelisting

The IP addresses you will be making calls from need to be whitelisted by Sonetel. If this is not done, outbound calls will fail.

Ensure that your SIP server is assigned a static IP address.

Share the IP address with support@sonetel.com.

Once we confirm back that we have whitelisted your  IPs, you can start sending outbound calls to our SIP servers at sip.sonetel.com.

For the best experience we recommend that your SIP server has a dedicated Internet connection. If that is not possible, please ensure the appropriate QoS settings are applied to your network equipment.
Once your IP addresses are whitelisted on our side, you need to configure an outbound route and dial pattern correctly in your SIP server/PBX for making calls using the Sonetel trunk.
