DTMF – touch tone – in SIP calls

DTMF – or touch tone digits – entered by your users or by the callers on their keypad during the call, should be sent as audio.

Our service supports DTMF transport using RFC2833.

This means that DTMF tones need to be sent as audio and not as data in the SIP-signaling.
