June 22 – Problems with service
10:00 AM UTC. We are currently experiencing a severe outage of our services. This impacts telephony (calls, SIP registrations, etc), API as well as the web portal.
The outage seems to be caused by a manual error done by consultants performing maintenance work at one of our data centers.
Our engineering team is working on restoring all the services.
10:45 AM UTC. The issue has been resolved and all services are working normally. We apologize for the inconvenience.
We are investigating what caused this.
Our investigations have revealed that the root cause of the problem was that one of the main Cisco switches in the data-center hung resulting in a local network outage. Rebooting the switch resolved the problem.
