February 12th – Problem with Callback and account notifications

February 11th 22:30 PM UTC. – February 12th 8:10 AM UTC. We had a problem with our system that caused calls made using our Callback service and account notifications (such as account locked alerts, password reset emails, etc.) to fail for some time last night.

The issue was caused due to an unexpected load on one of our servers. This increased load caused the server to become unresponsive. The issue has been resolved now.

The root cause of this issue has been identified and we are taking corrective steps to ensure this does not happen again.
