September 25th – Scheduled system maintenance
04:30 AM UTC – 07:30 AM UTC. As part of our effort to improve the stability & performance of our service we have a major maintenance scheduled on 25th September. The maintenance involves moving all our services to a new data-center.
Phone calls will continue to work during this time. However, access to the web portal & our website will be limited for some time during the maintenance window. This means you will not be able to add money to your account or change any settings.
We will keep the system status updated during the maintenance.

04:15 AM UTC. We are starting with the maintenance in a few minutes. Phone calls and other services should continue to work without any problems.
04:40 AM UTC. As part of the maintenance our web portal will be unavailable for some time.
06:20 AM UTC. The maintenance is going as planned. All hands are on deck and we should have the web portal up and running soon.
06:50 AM UTC. The web portal is up and running now. If you face problems while logging in, please clear your browser’s cache and try again.
08:05 AM UTC. Our Call Thru and Call back services are not working at the moment due to the ongoing maintenance. Our engineering team is working to make sure things are back to normal as soon as possible. We apologize for the inconvenience.
10:40 AM UTC. Our SMS-to-email and Fax-to-email services were not functioning properly during the maintenance. The problem has been resolved and the pending SMS & faxes will be delivered soon.
11:55 AM UTC. We are currently investigating reports of voicemail messages not being delivered. The engineering team is investigating this.
12:35 PM UTC. We are experiencing problems with Perfect Money payments. The problem is related to the maintenance currently underway.
12:50 PM UTC. The problem with Perfect Money payments has been resolved. If you made a payment that was not credited to your Sonetel account, please send an email to support@sonetel.com with the details of the payment.
06:15 PM UTC. The maintenance has taken longer than expected but we are still working on resolving the problems with calls, SMS & Fax emails as well as voicemail messages not being delivered.
06:50 PM UTC. The problem with Call thru and Call back calls has now been resolved.
10:30 PM UTC. We are still working on resolving the problems with Conference calls, Voicemail-to-email delivery and intermittent issues with SIP phones. We apologize for the problems caused due to this disruption.
10:40 PM UTC. The problem with SIP registrations should be fixed now. If you are using sonetel.net or an IP address as the SIP Server address, please change that to sip.sonetel.com otherwise SIP registration may not work.
